Commercialization Support Services

The Commercialization Support Services (CSS) program provides funds assisting geomatics entrepreneurs and companies in the implementation of best-practice techniques in the development, management and growth of their business.TECTERRA recognizes that while the technological innovation is critical to driving geomatics development, business skills are critical to the commercial success of the company.The CSS program offers geomatics entrepreneurs financial support to develop and adopt business skills and practices in several areas that include: strategic planning, human resources management, go-to-market strategies, communications and branding, and intellectual property management. TECTERRA is pleased to announce that the CSS program is also now offering business plan and sales mentorship support.

CSS Offers:

·         Up to $50,000 towards eligible costs in any one calendar year per applicant.
·         Paid to Approved Service Providers (ASPs), either referred by TECTERRA or identified by the applicant and approved under this program.
·         75% of funds provided are a non-repayable grant. Payback of 25% takes place at project completion.
·         Eligible recipients are small businesses and individual entrepreneurs who have established a business venture or start-up company in Alberta with a focus            on integrated resource management. Other industries will be considered
